Dr. Jack Tauscher

Dr. Jack Tauscher, Vice President of IIC, graduated summa cum laude with a B.S in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University where he was honored as the top graduate in the College of Engineering (1981). His academic success continued into Rush Medical College when he was an elected AOA member. Completing both his residency and fellowship at the University of Michigan, he served as Chief Resident and was elected Outstanding House Officer. Following the completion of his fellowship in Interventional Radiology, Dr. Tauscher joined Aurora Radiology Consultants which has been serving Fox Valley for 45-years – he’s now been a part of this community staple for 30 of those years!

Pursuing the Group’s Mission to provide the best radiology services in the Valley, he formerly served as Head of IR at AMITA Mercy and Northwestern Medicine’s Kishwaukee Hospital, and is now the Director of Radiology at Advocate Health Care’s Dreyer Medical Clinic. While he gave up basketball at the ripe young age of 55, he can still be found jump roping in his driveway at 4am most mornings. Life as a grandpa is a joy to Dr. Tauscher and he hopes to return to coaching AAU youth basketball soon.
